DEMBI DOLO Gospel Crusade, Ethiopia, DAY 1:
This crusade is especially meaningful for our team, as we are ministering in the hometown of our Ethiopian Director. Located deep in western Ethiopia, Dembi Dolo has been the epicentre of significant unrest in recent years—circumstances that repeatedly prevented us from holding a crusade here. At last, stability has returned, the doors have opened, and it is already clear that we will not be disappointed! The pastors are wonderfully humble and thousands gathered for our first service. The people are attentive, eager, and deeply hungry for the things of God. I preached from Isaiah 61, and together we called on the name of Jesus—asking Him to wash away the sin that separates us from God, heal every broken heart, and set each precious person free from demonic torment. Prayer for the sick quickly led to beautiful testimonies of God’s power.
Dagafa, at 95 years old—and may I say, still looking fantastic!—shared his story. Three months ago, he survived a severe electrical accident. The shock threw him to the ground, badly injuring his back. Since then, he had been unable to walk or even stand without intense pain. Today, Jesus healed him completely! He kicked his legs and jumped on stage, radiant with joy. “I thank the Lord for His grace. I am so grateful to Him!”
Yamitu, a 65-year-old businesswoman, had suffered from serious kidney problems for seven years. “I could neither stand nor sit to work,” she told us. “I wept from the pain day and night. I struggled to do my job.” During prayer, she felt the power of the Lord come upon her. Joy flooded her heart and every trace of pain left her body. Ululating on stage and lifting her hands to heaven, she rejoiced: “I am completely healed! I feel free. I am so happy!”
Tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday, we continue with both morning and afternoon services. Thank you for your prayers and support as we proclaim the Good News in this remote corner of Ethiopia.

DEMBI DOLO Gospel Crusade, Ethiopia, DAY 2:
Things are heating up here in Dembi Dolo and we stand in awe of what the Lord is doing! The people are wonderfully enthusiastic—dancing and singing with exuberant joy, yet listening to the preaching with remarkable attentiveness. Even when rain fell, they remained focused and hungry for the things of God. This morning, Ev Samuel Murrombe ministered the Gospel while I did so in the afternoon. In both meetings, when the invitation was given to receive Jesus as Saviour, thousands responded. It was glorious. Prayer for the sick also yielded tremendous fruit.
Nashee, a 58-year-old mother of four, had been bedridden for eight months due to severe problems with her womb and ovaries. She lived in a nearby village and had come into town for a medical appointment—then decided to attend the crusade. “I sensed fire all over my body,” she exclaimed. “Suddenly, the pain and discomfort vanished!” She fell to the ground in worship before dancing across the stage, rejoicing.
Dure, a 43-year-old university lecturer, had suffered persistent, stabbing pain after falling onto a metal chair leg during an accident on campus. Sitting and walking had been agonising. During prayer, she felt a cold sensation sweep through her body—and instantly all the pain disappeared. What a mighty God we serve!
Bultu, a 42-year-old father of two, had battled kidney and knee problems for seven years. Walking was difficult and passing urine was a constant struggle. Many doctors and hospitals had been unable to help him. But today, after being touched by Dr Jesus, he is completely healed! “My life has changed,” he testified. “I give all the glory to God!”
Tomorrow we continue. Thank you for standing with us through your prayers and your giving!

DEMBI DOLO Gospel Crusade, Ethiopia, DAY 3:
We had another glorious day—overflowing with salvations and miracles! Once again, we held both morning and afternoon services, with Ev. Samuel Murrombe preaching powerfully in the first meeting and me ministering in the second. The weather was perfect and people attended in their thousands. We are blessed to have some young evangelists with us and I invited Ev. Albert Anokye-Bempah from Ghana to share for a few minutes. He did an excellent job and the people were richly blessed. After preaching the Gospel, I taught briefly on the Holy Spirit, explaining that the Lord desires to fill every believer and empower them for His work. Tomorrow, I will continue this teaching before we pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We heard wonderful testimonies after praying for the sick. Gamula is a 35-year-old government employee and father of two. He was in a serious car accident six years ago that left his right leg badly broken. Although it had healed to a degree, he lived in constant pain and could never put full weight on it. During the afternoon service, the pain became so unbearable that he folded his jacket into a pillow and lay down at the edge of the field to rest—and that is where the Lord met with him! As he lay there, he was overwhelmed by the power of God. When he stood, he discovered that his leg was stable and the pain that had plagued him was completely gone. “I am so happy!” he testified on stage, jumping up and down. “Praise be to the Lord!”
Gemechu, a 45-year-old pastor, had endured such severe pain in one knee for three years that he could not climb stairs. Today, that knee is torment-free. Yeshi, a 40-year-old businesswoman, had suffered numbness and weakness in her right hand for four months. “It did not work at all,” she said. Now her hand functions normally. We give God all the glory!
Tomorrow is our final day here. We will hold a mass church service in the morning with all the congregations and then conclude in the afternoon with one last service. Please continue praying for us. We love and appreciate you.

DEMBI DOLO Gospel Crusade, Ethiopia, FINAL DAY:
Our final day was truly heavenly. This morning, all the evangelical churches in the town flocked to the crusade field for a mass service. We presented Certificates of Appreciation to the pastors and volunteers, along with copies of the Amharic translation of my “Spirit of Fire” book, which teaches on evangelism. In the afternoon, tens of thousands gathered. This is a small town and such attendance thrills our hearts. Ev. Samuel Murrombe preached the Gospel and I taught once more on the Holy Spirit, sharing how to partner with Him when witnessing and praying for the sick. We also gave a young evangelist, Ev. Itumeleng Mokganya from South Africa, the opportunity to minister. He did a marvellous job, directing every heart toward Jesus.
During prayer for the baptism in the Holy Spirit, we spent extended time in worship. It truly felt as though heaven touched earth as thousands lifted their voices in adoration—and the fire fell! We also prayed over the many requests submitted throughout the crusade period. Though a heavy rainstorm interrupted the service, the people were wonderfully resilient. Those who scattered for shelter soon returned once the worst had passed and we were able to finish the meeting on a high note.
Once again, miracle testimonies were shared. One woman, Hambaye, aged 50, had battled severe kidney problems for twenty years. “I was unable to work,” she explained. Caring for her six children had been extremely difficult. Since attending our services, every symptom has disappeared. She no longer has any pain or discomfort but is rejoicing in her newfound freedom!
Heartfelt thanks for helping make this crusade possible. The pastors are overjoyed and will now begin the crucial work of following up and discipling the new believers. Please keep them in your prayers. We love you, Dembi Dolo. Keep shining for Jesus!
